EvenTrust uses only essential cookies required for the platform to function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. There is nothing to opt out of because we don't track you.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They serve various purposes — from keeping you logged in to tracking your behavior across the internet. We only use the first kind.
Cookies We Use
Session Cookie (NextAuth)
authjs.session-token — Keeps you logged in after Google OAuth authentication. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Expires when your session ends or after 30 days.
Legal basis: Strictly necessary (no consent required under ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3)).
CSRF Protection Token (NextAuth)
authjs.csrf-token — Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks. HttpOnly, Secure. Expires with your session.
Legal basis: Strictly necessary (security measure).
Callback URL (NextAuth)
authjs.callback-url — Temporarily stores where to redirect you after login. Cleared after use.
Legal basis: Strictly necessary (authentication flow).
Cookies We Do Not Use
No advertising cookies — We do not run ads or use ad-tracking pixels.
No analytics cookies — Vercel Analytics is cookie-free and GDPR-compliant by design.
No social media cookies — We do not embed social media widgets that set cookies.
No third-party tracking — No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, or similar services.
Browser Extension Storage
The EvenTrust Capture Chrome extension uses chrome.storage.local (not cookies) to temporarily store captured profile data before import. This data stays on your device and is cleared after delivery to eventrust.ro. It is not shared with any third party.
Your Choices
Since we only use strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required under EU law. However, you can always manage cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking our session cookie will prevent you from logging in.
Legal Framework
This policy complies with the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended by 2009/136/EC), its Romanian transposition (Legea 506/2004, as amended), and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679). Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
